Couldn't be more excited seeing my own design on our new private labels. Eeek! I have dreamed of this moment. //There is so much depth to the name I chose & what it means and I'll share more on the blog this weekend! // #rioritz #newadventures #atxblogger

Some don’t really know the whole background story behind my store. Yes, I went to fashion school & yes I worked in intense internships in the fashion industry, so I have done my share. However, never in a millon years did I ever think I would get to where I am now & have my own store. This store is actually all due to my dad. The drive, the funding, & basically every decisions I make are based around the thought that he is still present. [My father passed away when I was 18 with a brain aneurysm.] I saved & used everything he left me to work endlessly & used his gift to open my first store in Dallas.

The meaning behind the name Tala, in our new private label, is the nickname he gave me growing up, until the day he passed. I have embedded this name into the clothing which I see everyday when I hang in the store, open a box, or hang in my closet, & it just puts a smile on my face & keeps me going during the week. So next time you grab yourself a gorgeous Tala piece, I hope it puts a smile on your face.

So remember everyday is a new day. Tell those you love, you love them freely. Whatever anger you feel, whatever hurt you’ve been through, move on with your life & work effortlessly & don’t let others put you down & make you feel like there’s nothing you can’t do.

I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with
the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did
you modify it yourself? Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to see a
nice blog like this one today.

Hi Alejandra! Thank you so much for your comment and sweet words. I am so sorry I have been delayed in responding on my blog while opening a new store, but I am working hard to be more active in it as I love to write! I actually have a friend http://www.jasminecrockett.com who is also a blogger and who helped me modify the theme to my liking. Her contact info is on her page and I’m sure she would love to work with you! Good luck & thank you again for the love! xoxo!
